In this quote, the Tao has no name and we don’t exactly know when tao was found or the origin and the Tao is everlasting and mysterious. God of Christianity doesn’t really have the name to the people. Also when Moses ask to the god what is ur name, the god told him Yahweh which means I am and god of christianity was mysterious and everlasting similar to the Tao. Regrading present day system, I am not sure, but I think the balancing part applies to many kinds of government. For example, if the government corrupts, then they will be more robbery. It just balances out. I disagree with Tao government because the idea of Tao says that everything will be balanced out but we don’t exactly know if its balancing out in a correct way or incorrect way.

In statement 4, Confucius said that to govern is to rectify which means that as the duty for a ruler, you should make the country better and the best way to do it is to rectify the ruler itself and the people will follow. But if the ruler do the bad thing and don’t rectify himself, he will not only rectify himself but also the people who follows him will do the bad thing that the leader did. Also in statement 3, Confucius said that let the ruler be a ruler, the minister be a minister, the father be a father, and the son be a son which shows that as the duty that each person has, they should try it best to stabilize the society. But if they don’t do their duty, they won’t be in a stable society.
